Portrait of Dr Melissa Bujtor

Dr Bujtor works across clinical practice, scientific research, advisory and board roles, industry, and advocacy — connecting research, policy and frontline care to improve outcomes for children and families.

A HCPC Registered Dietitian and AfN Registered Nutritionist, she has specialist expertise in paediatric dietetics, feeding development and eating disorders, alongside a British Psychological Society-accredited Master’s degree in Psychology, bringing an understanding of behaviour, cognition and emotional development to her clinical work with children and young people.

Her work extends beyond clinical practice into research, policy and advocacy. A published scientist, Dr Bujtor also serves on the Board of Trustees of The Feeding Trust, contributing specialist expertise across the areas that shape how children, young people and families are understood and supported.

Clinically, Dr Bujtor brings together evidence-based dietetics, nutrition science and an understanding of the biological, developmental, psychological and social factors that shape health and eating across the lifespan. Her approach looks beyond diet alone — considering the whole person, the context in which difficulties arise, and the factors that may influence nutritional health and wellbeing.

The Practice

Considered care, in two worlds.

In the clinic, Dr Bujtor works one-to-one, in groups, and with families. Beyond it, she collaborates on research, scientific communication, public-health policy, and advocacy — always with the same intention: healthier futures, derived from better evidence.
